Having done a couple of them at this point and having written a gear list by hand in each case, I thought it would just make sense to put this online where I will hopefully be able to find it before my next triathlon.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>General<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>tri shorts<\/li>\n<li>tri top<\/li>\n<li>towels: beach towel plus small hand towel<\/li>\n<li>waist pack\n<ul>\n<li>bib<\/li>\n<li>spare keys<\/li>\n<li>ID, etc.<\/li>\n<li>phone<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>wallet (remain in car)<\/li>\n<li>sunglasses<\/li>\n<li>regular glasses (remain in car)<\/li>\n<li>keys<\/li>\n<li>watch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Swimming<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>wetsuit &#8211; if necessary<\/li>\n<li>swim goggles<\/li>\n<li>swim cap<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Biking<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>road bike<\/li>\n<li>helmet<\/li>\n<li>gloves<\/li>\n<li>computer<\/li>\n<li>pump<\/li>\n<li>rear bag with tools and spare parts<\/li>\n<li>water bottle(s)<\/li>\n<li>biking cap<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Running<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>shoes (also for biking)<\/li>\n<li>socks<\/li>\n<li>running hat<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is my general gear list for a triathlon.
